Rifles: M1 Service Rifles with Iron Sights or up to 4.5x scope.
Course of Fire for M1 Service Rifle:
- 10 shots Slow Fire Prone, 6 sighters, 16 shots total, single shot, 20 minutes time
- 10 shots Rapid Fire Prone in 70 seconds, must include an enbloc/magazine change
- 10 shots Rapid Fire from the sitting or kneeling positions in 60 seconds, with an enbloc/magazine change
- 10 shots Slow Fire Standing, single load, no sling, 10 minute time
Course of Fire for the 100 Year Old Rifle:
10 rounds, Iron Sights, Target SR-C 200 yards
5 rounds any position incl/ bench rest/ 5 shots Standing Unsupported/no sling.
They can be any kind of rifle as long as manufactured at least 100 years ago. Modern replicas of old rifles do not qualify.

This match is open to the public. You are welcome to come out and simply watch. We have competitors from all over the Northland. The Matches are open to anyone interested, and everyone is welcome. Check the calendar on this site for contact information if you have questions or want to try Service Rifle shooting and need to borrow a rifle. Show up and join in.
Spotting scopes are NOT provided. Shooting pads to soften the ground are NOT provided.
