Weekly Shooting Stages for Itasca Action Pistol

For each week, we've got images that define the course of fire for each stage.  The images include the looks of the stage, the movement and shooting positions for each and the allowable ammunition per stage.

• Virginia Count = the max number of rounds of ammunition that can be fired in a stage.
• Unlimited Count = as many shots as you need to get the required target hits.
• Mandatory reloads = how many magazines changes must happen; tactical reloads. 1 reload is typical.  This avoids people with 21 round magazines from shooting an entire stage without slowing down to change magazines.  People with 8 round magazines would be at a disadvantage.
• Round Count = the number of shots it would take to shoot the stage perfectly; no misses.

Each stage is explained to everyone before that stage begins.

Last week we were scheduled to do our annual practice night for the Chuck Pearson .45 Drill, but due to the weather last week we will do it this week instead. We will also be shooting these two normal stages afterwards.

This week is our annual Pick-up Gun match. Everyone brings a gun to set up at a miniature stage and each shooter gets to go down the line and load and shoot each gun that was brought. You can bring a pistol, revolver, shotgun, PCC, or even a rifle in an intermediate cartridge such as an AR15 or AKM. You don't have to bring a gun to participate and you are welcome to bring as many guns as you would like. Bring ammo for your gun for everyone to shoot and it must be factory ammo, no handloads.
